West Virginia is 88% mountains.
At SITU, we don't
move mountains
Instead, we are building the breakthrough construction technology that unlocks West Virginia's mountainous terrain for A.I. & Energy supercycle development—doing our part to help seize unprecedented economic opportunity for our communities while keeping the Mountain State, the mountain state.

Our Vision
SITU's West Virginia HQ Team of construction innovators, roboticists, and engineers are busy developing and implementing the technology, tools, and methods that will advance our state's competitive standing in the A.I. & Energy supercycle.
Eventually, we will extend our reach to out-of-state markets that share the challenge of having ideally situated terrain that is difficult to build upon. Our effort will be guided by the mission of securing and maintaining the United States' dominant position in global A.I.

Our work together here in West Virginia is not only important for our state's economy—it is future-shaping.
Our Approach
SITU delivers precision through construction robotics.
A.I. and Energy supercycle-supporting infrastructure is substantially built off-site. Its industrial modular construction components are engineered to very high standards of dimensional tolerance to ensure both trouble free intermodal shipment to site—and perfect fit assembly once delivered. Component requirements this precise, however, pose significant challenges when using conventional construction methods to attach to field installed foundations—and especially so on difficult and/or remote development sites that are mountainous. Here, it is commonplace for contractors to retreat to a highly inefficient show of force approach involving costly site clearance, massive grading, excessive soils compaction, and significantly over-built concrete slab foundation installation.

SITU solves this by delivering the on-site foundation precision required by industrial modulars with a light touch through the robotic positioning of point-load foundation connections that are millimeter accurate to x, y & z targets. SITU's construction robotics realize fit-certain, bolt-together, superfast installations of supercycle infrastructure that maximize material, timeline, and labor efficiencies—dramatically reducing overall project scope. No land scraping, watershed alteration, or endless caravans of cement trucks required.

This translates to meaningful risk reduction, labor bottleneck relief, and unprecedented cost savings and speed gains—making previously "unbuildable" mountain sites finally competitive with flat site development—a major win for West Virginia.
